The Path of Joy and Sadness is Zen 2099's second release on Chimera Central which takes us along an emotional audio journey into the surreal realm of drone. Each moment of sound causes us to freeze and think deeply of what we are journeying for. Zen 2099's increasingly minimal sound on Ceaselessly Along Dream Paths to On This Road No One Will Follow Me conveys memories that from a dream like past are only heard as distance echos. Each path flows into each other seamlessly but invoke their intended feeling, joy and sadness, love and pain. Finally ending with The Six Realms to bring a low end environment fitting for a home to both heaven and hell.
