Vi11AiN makes a successful departure from the previous dubstep fused Dissenter and the Return of the Locust is ready to consume the harvest. This latest EP includes some diverse remixes by IO, Mean Spirited Mirth, fellow Chimera Central artists Technicolor Yawn, Cursed Chimera and Noisepsalm. Breed is the synthetic breakbeat intro to this album, diving deep with ethereal pads. The more brokenbeat Swarm has the chattering electronics of a locust swarm. Aftermath finishes with a epic bass and synth pad combo that harks back to a more simplistic form of the breakbeat genre. CC030
