about

The latest EP by the cursed duo, Land of the Burning Sun, conjures 8-bit memories of a blasted wasteland filled with glitch riddled discotheques. This ep was composed over a 3 year span during Cursed Chimera's travels in California and Colorado, hence the title since the sun is always burning, and the music scenes in both states influenced their current sound. Broken robot melodies of Rejection 0891 clash with the noise bass kicks and then trails into Caustic Surgeon's electro friendly dance beat. The title track invokes the powerful bleeps and square waves as the electronic monks chant in the distance. Finishing the album is Tears of Plastic Shed No More as a homecoming of lofi downtempo gently guiding your feet to shuffle to its slow jam. This album is for fans of 8bit electronics that only Cursed Chimera can create. CC008
